This walking track provides a route from Sumner to Evans Pass or across to Taylors Mistake. You can also use it to create a nice loop by linking with the Captain Thomas Track.

| Description |
The track starts from Evans Pass and gently descends through open tussock. Near the intersection with Sumnervale Drive, there is an option to turn left and zig-zag down the signposted Waterfall track which creates a circuit walk with the Captain Thomas Track. Otherwise, continue along the Scarborough Track towards Taylors Mistake. The terrain becomes quite rocky and requires some surefootedness as it weaves through the bluffs. Follow the track past the Scarborough woolshed and continue on as it sidles gently down the slopes to meet Taylors Mistake Road. There are great views over Sumner and down into Taylors Mistake along the way. Please walk carefully downhill along the side of the road to get to the beach.
