Details
Dormer Construction will be replacing the wastewater pipes on Condell Avenue between Aorangi Road and Matsons Avenue. The work is expected to take four to six weeks to complete.
We understand that this work is disruptive, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Traffic impacts
- While we carry out the work, a one-way system will be implemented on Condell Avenue between Aorangi Road and Matsons Avenue.
- Reduced speed limits will be in place during construction works.
- The sections of road we're working in will be closed to through traffic during work.
- On-street parking will be limited during the works.
Access
- We will maintain vehicle access to properties wherever we can, using steel plates when needed. There may be periods during the day when access to residences is affected, but the crew will ensure access is reinstated prior to leaving the site each day.
- Please advise if you have any specific property access requirements, e.g. medical visits, large deliveries, home help and any planned works.
- Please put your bins out as usual by 6am on your collection day. The team will move them and return them, if needed.
- Traffic management will be installed to keep both road users and workers safe.
- Works will take place 7am to 6pm weekdays.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained with clear signage for detours. Please adhere to the signage.

Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
