Mobility parking

For on-street mobility parking, concessions apply in P30 to P60 time-limited parking spaces only. For metered parks, there are concessions for P$60 meters only.

A mobility card must be displayed at all times.

Concessions

On-street mobility parking concessions:

  • P30: permitted to park an additional 30 minutes
  • P60: permitted to park an additional 60 minutes.
  • There are no concessions for parking restrictions under 30 minutes or over 60 minutes.

Designated mobility parks that display a time restriction do not have any additional concession.

Mobility permits honoured

The Christchurch City Council accepts permits issued by CCS Disability Action, Sommerville Disability Support Services and all overseas mobility permits.

If touring, please check with other local councils as to their specific concessions.
