Adopting a dog is a life-changing decision for you and for the dog. This decision should not be taken lightly. We'd like to match every dog with the most suitable family or owner.

Adopt a dog from the animal shelter

If you see a dog that you'd like to adopt, you can discuss this with the shelter team.

You will need to bring your personal identification, such as your driver's licence, passport, utility bill or birth certificate to prove you are over 16 years of age.

Opening hours for shelter

  • Monday to Friday 1pm to 5pm.
  • Monday to Friday 5pm to 5.30pm by appointment only.
  • Saturdays from 9am to 1pm to collect dogs by appointment only. 
  • Closed Sundays and public holidays.

  • Monday to Friday 1pm to 5pm.
  • Closed for adopting dogs on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.
