Botanic Gardens River Walk

There is an extensive network of paths to explore through the Botanic Gardens. This walk is recommended for those wanting a leisurely and scenic stroll from Rolleston Ave to the Armagh Street carpark.

Description

Meet the Avon River behind the Curator's House and follow its waters on a scenic tour through the Botanic Gardens.

This route will pass through the Temperate Asian Collection where beautiful flowers bloom in spring and a number of unusual fruits are showcased in autumn.

Continue along the path closest to the river and enjoy the bright Azalea and Magnolia Garden before coming to the children's play area and the bridge leading to the car park.
