The Quality of Life Survey is a biennial survey of resident perceptions of well-being in New Zealand's larger urban areas.

The random survey of around 7000 respondents includes a sample of more than 500 Christchurch residents.

The survey is part of the wider Quality of Life Project, which is a partnership between New Zealand's largest councils, and includes Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Hutt, Porirua, Christchurch and Dunedin City Councils. The Greater Wellington region also participates.
